kings and tunnies

Report Date: July 2, 2018

Fishing has been very productive over the past few weeks and the weather has been phenomenal. Flat calm seas and plenty of sunshine seens to be the norm.

Most of our trips have consisted of a morning stroll on the reef for the first couple hours of the day. We have been capturing lots or little tunnies, kingfish, barracuda, mahi, and some tuna this way. After the troll bite slows down we have been drifting with live bait and doing some anchor fishing. Live bait fishing has been producing sailfish, bonito, mutton snapper, grouper, and some big sharks as well.

Offshore fishing has been producing some mahi mahi, almaco jack, and some tunas on the troll. The people that have been venturing off a little more have been running into some large swordfish and bluefin tuna.

As we approach the height of the summer we offer night trips also which protects us from the heat. Nighttime swordfishing, sharkfishing, and anchoring on the reef for snapper. I will be travelling this week but I have availability towards the second week in July.

Come take advantage of this beautiful weather and come see what South Florida Fishing has to offer for you.
Hope everyone has a great summer.
